The main borders are Sahara Avenue to the north, Decatur Boulevard to the east, Warm Springs Road to the south, and Hualapai Way to the west. The area began in 1981 as a Pardee Homes master plan on land that used to hold the Stardust International Raceway. Las Vegas Chinatown runs along Spring Mountain Road inside its borders.

Age is the big split. Older subdivisions near Decatur and Jones date back to the 1970s through the 1990s. Newer homes cluster near the 215 Beltway and Hualapai Way. At the top end, guard gated Spanish Trail covers 640 acres with 11 separate neighborhoods.
