What Is Skye Canyon Park?

Skye Canyon Park sits at the heart of the master-planned community and serves as the main outdoor gathering space for residents. The 15-acre property includes large grass soccer fields, a lighted basketball court with 6 hoops, 2 covered playgrounds, a splash pad, and restrooms. The resident-only Junior Olympic Pool is located on the same property, with access tied to the master HOA at $83 per month.

The park is gated for resident use, and the current resident hours are posted at the gate. Because the basketball court is lit, it is one of the few outdoor courts in northwest Las Vegas that stays usable after sunset during the warmer months.

What Activities Does It Support?

Ryan Rose points out that Skye Canyon Park hosts the largest community events of the year, including Chalktober Fest, Fit Fest, Color the Canyon, outdoor concerts, and outdoor movie nights. The covered playgrounds and splash pad give families with young kids a place to land during the hottest parts of the day, and the soccer fields are wide enough to support pickup games and youth practices at the same time.

The park is also a connector. Miles of trails and dedicated bike lanes link Skye Canyon Park to the four neighborhood parks, the Skye Center clubhouse, and the fitness center, so residents can walk or bike between amenities without driving.
