One Queensridge Place as Architectural Landmark

by Ryan Rose

One Queensridge Place is a pair of luxury residential towers that have defined the western Las Vegas skyline since their completion in 2007. Rising approximately 233.5 feet, these twin towers were the tallest residential structures in the Las Vegas area at the time of construction. Beyond their height, the buildings stand as a distinct architectural statement in a city known for commercial spectacle rather than residential design.

Design and Construction

One Queensridge Place was built by Executive Home Builders and completed between 2006 and 2007. The twin tower design features a Mediterranean influenced exterior with terracotta tones, arched windows, and decorative cornices that set it apart from the glass and steel towers common on the Strip. The buildings contain 219 units spread across 43 different floor plans, with residences ranging from 2,100 to 16,000 square feet. This variety of configurations means the towers serve a range of buyers, from those seeking a spacious two bedroom to those wanting a full floor penthouse.

Skyline Presence

The twin tower silhouette of One Queensridge Place is visible from many vantage points across western Las Vegas. Driving west on Charleston Boulevard or south on the 215 Beltway, the towers serve as a recognizable landmark that signals the Queensridge community. In a city where residential architecture rarely registers at the skyline level, One Queensridge Place occupies a unique position. The towers brought a high rise living option to western Las Vegas, an area historically defined by single family homes and low rise development.

Interior Amenities

The amenity package at One Queensridge Place reflects the building's positioning as a self contained luxury residence. Facilities include a 25 seat private movie theater, a spa and fitness center exceeding 13,000 square feet, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a wine cellar, poker room, billiards lounge, and a barista staffed cafe. Concierge service, valet parking, and guest casitas for visiting family or friends round out the offering. These amenities are maintained through HOA dues that range from $1,200 to $3,800 per month depending on unit size and floor level.

Notable Residents

Queensridge and the broader Queensridge community have attracted high profile residents over the years. Tennis champions Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf were among the notable names associated with the neighborhood, contributing to its reputation as one of the premier residential addresses in Las Vegas.

Architectural Significance

One Queensridge Place demonstrated that luxury high rise living could succeed outside the resort corridor. The project proved there was demand for tower residences in a suburban, guard gated setting, combining the privacy and security of Queensridge with the convenience and low maintenance lifestyle of condominium ownership. The buildings remain among the most recognizable residential structures in the Las Vegas valley nearly two decades after their completion.
