Desert Breeze Park Skate Park
Desert Breeze Skate Park is a 20,000 square foot concrete skate facility located inside Desert Breeze Park in Spring Valley. It is one of the largest and most popular skateparks in the Las Vegas Valley.
What Does Desert Breeze Skate Park Offer?
The skate park features a well designed layout with ramps, rails, ledges, and bowls that cater to both street and transition skating styles. The entire facility is built from poured concrete, which provides a smooth and durable riding surface. Shade structures, benches, and drinking fountains are available on site for breaks between sessions.
The park is designed primarily for intermediate to advanced level skaters, though beginners will find certain sections accessible for building skills. Skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes are all welcome at the facility. Helmets and protective gear are strongly recommended for all riders.
What Are the Hours and Rules for the Skate Park?
Desert Breeze Skate Park is open daily from 6 AM to 11 PM, with lighting available for evening sessions. There is no admission fee to use the skate park. The facility is part of the larger Desert Breeze Park complex at 8275 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
Ryan Rose points out that the skate park adds real value to the Spring Valley community by giving younger residents a dedicated, well maintained space for recreation. The park also hosts events throughout the year, and its reputation draws skaters from across the valley.
Why Spring Valley Families Love Desert Breeze
The skate park sits within a 119 acre regional park that also includes playgrounds, sports fields, a dog park, a community center, and an aquatic facility.
