Reverence sits in Summerlin West, roughly 20 miles northwest of the Las Vegas Strip. The typical drive time ranges from 25 to 40 minutes depending on traffic, time of day, and which part of the Strip you are heading to.

Route Options

The most direct route from Reverence to the Strip follows the 215 Beltway south to the I-15 freeway, then south on I-15 to the Strip exits. During off peak hours, this route takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes. During rush hour (roughly 7:00 to 9:00 AM and 4:00 to 6:30 PM), the drive can stretch to 35 to 40 minutes, primarily due to congestion on the I-15 interchange.

An alternative route uses Summerlin Parkway east to US-95 south, then connects to I-15. This route avoids the 215/I-15 merge and can be faster during certain traffic patterns, though the total distance is slightly longer.

Commute to Other Key Destinations

The Strip is not the only employment center in the valley. Here are approximate drive times from Reverence during typical weekday conditions:

Downtown Summerlin is 5 to 10 minutes south. The Summerlin Parkway business corridor is 10 to 15 minutes east. Downtown Las Vegas is 20 to 30 minutes east via US-95. Henderson is 30 to 45 minutes southeast depending on the specific area. McCarran (Harry Reid) International Airport is 25 to 35 minutes via I-15.

Remote Work Advantage

A significant percentage of Reverence buyers work remotely, either full time or in a hybrid arrangement. For these buyers, the daily commute is less of a factor, and the tradeoff of living at 3,200 feet elevation with mountain views and resort amenities becomes the primary draw. The community's high speed internet infrastructure supports remote work without issues.

Local Insight

Ryan Rose notes that the commute from Reverence is comparable to most Summerlin communities, since the entire master plan sits west of the valley core. Buyers who work on the Strip or downtown typically adjust their schedules to avoid peak traffic, leaving 15 to 20 minutes earlier or later to cut the drive time significantly. For buyers who work in the Summerlin or west Las Vegas area, the commute is minimal.
