The Willows Community Center and Amenities in Summerlin

by Ryan Rose

The Willows village in Summerlin packs an unusually rich set of amenities into its boundaries. Anchored by the Willows Community Center and spread across three parks totaling over 34 acres, this village gives residents access to recreation facilities that most neighborhoods simply cannot match.

What Does the Willows Community Center Offer?

The Willows Community Center serves as the social hub of the village. Located near the Willows Park complex, it provides gathering space for neighborhood events, meetings, and private functions. The center works alongside the adjacent bathhouse, which supports the resident only pool area. Together, these facilities give The Willows a neighborhood feel that extends well beyond the individual homes and subdivisions.

Parks, Pool, and Recreation Facilities

The Willows' three parks cover more than 34 acres of developed recreation space. The centerpiece is Willows Park, which features a resident only swimming pool with a beach style entry, two water slides, and a fountain. Athletic amenities include tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, and soccer fields. Multiple playgrounds serve younger residents, while walking trails wind through the community for joggers and casual walkers alike.

One of the more distinctive features is the Aesop's Fables sculpture garden, which adds a creative touch to the park landscape. These sculptures appear along the walking paths and provide a unique visual element that sets The Willows apart from other Summerlin villages.

How Much Do These Amenities Cost?

Every homeowner in The Willows pays a master association fee of $76 per month, which funds the maintenance and operation of all shared amenities. This covers the community center, all three parks, the pool complex, sports courts, and common area landscaping. Residents in guard gated Willow Creek pay an additional sub association fee of $449 to $505 per month for their private gate and neighborhood upkeep. Gated subdivisions like Bella Veranda and Heather Glen have their own smaller sub association fees as well.

Local Insight from Ryan Rose

Ryan Rose tells buyers that The Willows' amenity package punches well above its weight for the $76 monthly master HOA fee. The resident only pool keeps crowds manageable compared to public facilities, and the sheer acreage of park space means the community never feels overcrowded on weekends. Ryan considers the amenities one of the top three reasons buyers choose The Willows over other Summerlin villages.
