Silverstone Ranch Golf Course: Current Status & Owner (2026)

by Ryan Rose

The Silverstone Ranch golf course status in 2026 is closed and unmaintained, now owned by Las Vegas land investor Khusrow "K" Roohani, who bought the property at auction in May 2025 for roughly $2.8 million.

What Is the Current Silverstone Ranch Golf Course Status?

The current Silverstone Ranch golf course status is closed and unmaintained. The course shut down in September 2015, when Desert Lifestyles LLC bought it and turned off the water. Since then the 270 acre, 27 hole layout, once made up of three nines called Desert, Mountain, and Valley, has sat idle and grown wild.

The property changed hands again when Stoneridge Parkway LLC bought it in 2016, then filed for bankruptcy as liens piled up and the grounds fell apart. The roughly 34,000 square foot clubhouse was destroyed by an arson fire on November 19, 2021, causing an estimated $5 million in damage, and two juveniles were arrested. As of the latest reporting in November 2025, the course remains closed, and no redevelopment application has been filed with the City of Las Vegas or the HOA.

Who Owns the Silverstone Ranch Golf Course Now?

On May 8, 2025, the land sold at auction for roughly $2.8 million, against more than $12 million in recorded liens. The buyer was Las Vegas land investor Khusrow "K" Roohani, who partnered with Dr. Jaswinder Grover; the deed was recorded under the name Imran Malik.

Roohani said he has no set plans for the site and pledged to consult the community before submitting any project. That resident input carries weight, because a 2002 recorded covenant requires the land to remain a 27 hole golf course unless at least 75% of Silverstone Ranch homeowners approve an alternative use. Homeowners even formed a "Saving Silverstone Ranch" group to stay involved in the golf course status going forward.
