Reverence Park Summerlin Pickleball Courts at Reverence Summerlin Tennis and Basketball Courts at Reverence Park

Reverence Park is the 8-acre centerpiece of the Reverence community in Summerlin West. While the park serves as a hub for sports and recreation, its playground and family amenities make it one of the most used spaces in the community on a daily basis.

Playground

The Reverence Park playground is designed for multiple age groups, with equipment scaled for younger children and older kids. The play area is set within the park's landscaped grounds and benefits from the community's elevated position at approximately 3,200 feet, where temperatures run a few degrees cooler than the valley floor during the hottest months.

The playground sees the heaviest use during the morning hours and after 5 PM in the warmer months, when the temperature drops enough for comfortable outdoor play. During the cooler season from October through April, the playground is busy throughout the day.

Picnic and Gathering Areas

Reverence Park includes shaded picnic areas and open lawn spaces suitable for birthday parties, family gatherings, and informal community get-togethers. The grass areas provide a comfortable spot for blankets and lawn chairs, and the proximity to the clubhouse means restrooms and additional facilities are nearby.

The park's location within the guard-gated community means families can use the space without concerns about public access or unfamiliar visitors, which is a practical consideration for parents with young children.

Walking Paths

Paved walking paths wind through Reverence Park and connect to the broader community trail network. These paths are used by walkers, joggers, and parents with strollers throughout the day. The paths are flat, well-maintained, and wide enough for two-way foot traffic.

The walking paths also connect to the Reverence community's internal sidewalk system, making it possible to walk from most homes in the community to the park without crossing a major road.

Sports Courts

Reverence Park includes lighted pickleball courts, tennis courts, and a basketball court. The lighted facilities allow evening use, which extends the usable hours significantly during the summer when daytime heat limits outdoor activity. The courts are maintained by the HOA and are available to all Reverence residents.

Local Insight

Ryan Rose highlights Reverence Park as one of the features that families use most frequently after moving in. The combination of the playground, walking paths, and courts within a gated setting creates a space where kids can play independently and neighbors connect naturally. He recommends visiting the park during a late afternoon on a weekday to see how the community uses the space in a typical day.
