Queensridge Community Walking Trails
Queensridge offers residents a network of walking trails winding through 800 acres of professionally landscaped grounds. These internal community trails provide a private, secure setting for daily walks, jogging, and leisurely strolls without ever leaving the guard gated perimeter. For residents who value outdoor activity within steps of their front door, the trail system is one of the most used amenities in the community.
Trail Layout and Design
The walking trails at Queensridge meander through mature tree lined pathways, manicured gardens, and open green spaces. The routes connect different sections of the community, including Queensridge North, Queensridge South, Tudor Park, Windsor, and the areas surrounding One Queensridge Place. Surfaces are maintained for comfortable walking year round, and the landscaping provides shade during the warmer months. The trails are flat and accessible, making them suitable for residents of all ages and fitness levels.
Connecting to the Summerlin Trail System
Beyond the community gates, Queensridge residents have convenient access to the broader Summerlin Trail System, which spans over 150 miles of connected walking and biking paths. The Peccole Ranch and Summerlin trail networks are accessible from the western Las Vegas area, extending the outdoor options well beyond the community itself. This connected system allows residents to walk or cycle for miles through western Las Vegas neighborhoods, parks, and commercial areas.
How Residents Use the Trails
Many Queensridge residents use the internal trails for morning and evening walks, taking advantage of the quiet, low traffic environment. The paths are popular with dog walkers, families with strollers, and joggers who prefer a private route over public parks. Because the community is guard gated with 24 hour security, the trails offer a level of safety and exclusivity that public paths cannot match.
Nearby Parks with Additional Trails
Residents looking for more variety can reach several parks within a short drive. Arbors Play Park in the Summerlin area features its own walking trails alongside basketball courts and a playground. Firefighters Memorial Park offers open space and multi use recreation nearby. For a more dramatic setting, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is roughly 10 to 15 minutes west, with hiking trails through desert canyons and red sandstone formations.
Walking Trails as a Lifestyle Feature
The trail system at Queensridge reflects the community's emphasis on quality of life. Combined with the clubhouse, fitness center, pools, and tennis courts, the walking trails contribute to an environment designed for active, outdoor living in a luxury residential setting.
