What Is Seven Hills Henderson?
Sonata Park Seven Hills Henderson
Walking and Biking Trails in Seven Hills Henderson
Seven Hills Henderson features four major parks connected by a paved trail system that winds through the community. All four parks carry classical music inspired names: Sonata, Vivaldi, Puccini, and Allegro. Additional pocket parks and greenbelts are scattered throughout the 25 neighborhoods, and one third of the community's 1,300 acres is permanently preserved as open space.
The Four Major Parks
Sonata Park is the largest at approximately 12 acres, located at 1550 Seven Hills Drive. It includes basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer and multi purpose fields, a playground, open grass areas, walking trails, restrooms, BBQ grills, picnic tables, and shelters. Sonata Park hosts community events including Movies in the Park during seasonal months.
Vivaldi Park covers roughly 7 acres at 1249 Seven Hills Drive and is known for its breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. The park features a baseball diamond, playground, open grass fields, picnic pavilions, BBQ grills, and restrooms. Scenic paved walking paths connect Vivaldi Park to Sonata Park, making it easy to walk or jog between the two.
Puccini Park sits on approximately 4.5 acres at 1899 Seven Hills Drive, near the 12th fairway of Serket Golf Club. It offers basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, a playground, open grass areas, picnic shelters, and restrooms. Allegro Park, also about 4.5 acres at 1023 Seven Hills Drive, features a playground, soccer fields, BBQ grills, picnic tables, and panoramic valley and mountain views. Allegro Park sits adjacent to Elise L. Wolff Elementary School.
Trail System and Open Space
The Seven Hills Trail is a popular 2.6 mile paved loop rated as an easy walk with approximately 196 feet of elevation gain. The trail is dog friendly and connects several of the parks and greenbelts within the community. Additional paved paths throughout Seven Hills link the four major parks and run through neighborhoods, allowing residents to walk, jog, or bike without leaving the community.
All four major parks are open from 6 AM to midnight (Sonata and Vivaldi) or 6 AM to 10 PM (Puccini and Allegro), and maintenance is funded through the Seven Hills Master Community Association HOA fees. The parks are open to all Seven Hills residents regardless of which neighborhood they live in.
Local Expert Insight
Ryan Rose often highlights Seven Hills' park system as a major differentiator from other Henderson communities. The fact that one third of the community is permanently preserved as open space creates a neighborhood feel that is greener and more spacious than what most Las Vegas valley communities can offer. For families with children, having Allegro Park adjacent to the top rated Wolff Elementary School means kids can walk to both school and a fully equipped park without crossing major roads.
