Major Green Valley Parks

Cornerstone Park at 1600 Wigwam Parkway (89074) is one of Henderson's premier parks, featuring a large pond with water features, walking trails, exercise stations, bird watching areas, and picnic shelters. Paseo Verde Park at 1851 Paseo Verde Parkway (89012) covers 8 acres with basketball courts, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, volleyball courts, playgrounds, and picnic shelters. Discovery Park at 2011 Paseo Verde Parkway (89012) offers a BMX track, baseball fields, two playgrounds, a dog park, and walking paths.

Sports and Active Recreation

Arroyo Grande Sports Complex at 298 Arroyo Grande Boulevard (89074) provides major lighted sports fields for baseball, softball, and multi use activities along with a playground. Green Valley Park at 370 N Pecos Road (89074) includes basketball courts, a running track, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Silver Springs Park, Fox Ridge Park, and Trail Canyon Park add additional field and court space throughout the community. The Henderson Multigenerational Center at 250 S Green Valley Parkway (89012) is an 84,120 square foot facility with indoor and outdoor pools, a rock climbing wall, an indoor walking track, fitness center, and basketball courts.

Trails

The Harry Reid Union Pacific Railroad Trail extends 13 miles of paved asphalt through southeastern Green Valley, connecting multiple parks and neighborhoods for walking, jogging, and cycling. Henderson maintains over 300 miles of trails citywide, with many accessible from Green Valley neighborhoods. The Amargosa Trail connects through Hidden Falls Park for additional route options.
