What Is Seven Hills Henderson?

The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve is a 140 acre wetland habitat located at 2400 Moser Drive in Henderson, approximately 10 to 15 minutes from Seven Hills. Managed by the City of Henderson, the preserve uses treated water from the Henderson Water Reclamation Facility to sustain nine ponds that attract over 270 species of birds throughout the year, making it one of the premier birding destinations in Southern Nevada.

What to See and Do

The preserve features a paved walking trail that loops around the ponds with observation platforms, benches, and informational signage identifying common bird species. Visitors regularly spot great blue herons, snowy egrets, American avocets, various duck species, and during migration seasons, hundreds of additional species passing through the Pacific Flyway. The preserve is open daily from 6 AM to 3 PM and admission is free.
